Why do people convert to LPG? Easy, to save money.

LPG gas is largely made up of propane and butane. This mixture is far less potent than petrol. Therefore you’ll find yourself using up a larger amount of it when you’re out on the tracks.

So where does the cost saving come in? The large amount of fuel you burn is usually offset by the lower price of gas per litre. This is usually around 57 cents/litre (vary depending on location), so this would usually set you back a little over $50 every time you fill up a 90L tank.
